Phoenix, AZ – April 7, 2025 – STChealth proudly hosted the 2025 Innovation Partners Summit, a one-day event dedicated to exploring the transformative role of vaccination data within Immunization Information Systems (IIS) and the broader immunization ecosystem. The summit took place on Thursday, March 27th, at the On Jackson event venue in Phoenix, AZ, bringing together thought leaders across public health, healthcare, and technology.

Immunization Information Systems serve as critical infrastructure within healthcare, providing confidential, population-based immunization data that informs patient care, strengthens public health initiatives, and optimizes healthcare operations. As a long-standing partner in the immunization ecosystem, STChealth recognizes the need for cross-industry collaboration to break down barriers and unlock the full potential of IIS data.

A Summit Focused on Innovation and Impact

The 2025 Innovation Partners Summit convened key stakeholders to discuss challenges and opportunities in leveraging IIS data to enhance patient safety, improve healthcare outcomes, optimize operational efficiency, and uphold data security and privacy. Through interactive discussions and strategic working sessions, attendees collaborated to develop actionable solutions aimed at enhancing immunization data use in transformative ways.

The summit opened with an industry landscape presentation from J.T. Lane, Senior Vice President for Population Health and Innovation at The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials. Entrepreneur Bill Goodwin then led an interactive session using the IDEAS Framework, guiding participants through structured problem-solving and ideation exercises. Small-group breakouts followed, where attendees worked together to generate tangible strategies for optimizing data use and strengthening immunization programs.

Looking Ahead: Building on the Momentum

The success of the summit reinforced the importance of collaborative innovation in public health and healthcare technology. Recognizing the value of these discussions, STChealth will host a follow-up session to continue advancing these initiatives.

“Our Innovation Partners brought energy, insight, and urgency to the conversation,” said Jason Briscoe, Vice President, Health Care Sector at STChealth. “J.T. Lane’s panoramic perspective and Bill Goodwin’s dynamic facilitation propelled us to think big, act fast, and collaborate with purpose. The momentum in the room was tremendous—and we’re just getting started.”
