STChealth recently made its return to the American Immunization Registry Association’s 2021 National Meeting—a.k.a. AIRA 2021. The conference, which took place in Portland, Oregon from August 3-5, celebrated immunization and healthcare leaders throughout the country and had a special focus on innovation in immunization data as we look forward past the COVID-19 pandemic.

STChealth was especially honored to take part in AIRA 2021 as one of our own, implementation manager Nick Harrar, was recognized for his tireless work during the coronavirus pandemic as a recipient of the “Consider It Done!” award.

“The ‘Consider It Done!’ award recipients were a group of individuals who, without hesitation, went the extra mile to get things done [during the pandemic] while keeping an upbeat and positive attitude,” explained Jo Turcotte, a membership coordinator at AIRA. “Nick goes above and beyond to help anyone in his work!”

Nick expressed his gratitude for the award with the following statement:

“It’s an honor to even be nominated—let alone be recognized as an award winner. This award could have easily been shared with hundreds of others that sacrificed long hours, time away from family, missed breaks and the many dinners left cold. Having been in this IIS ecosystem now going on 10 years, I’m blown away by the IIS community, AIRA and the devoted staff that give their all to ensure healthy patient population outcomes on a daily basis. This is a true honor—one that I’m beyond grateful to have received and appreciative to this community for.”
